Our Programs

Learn about all the different programs we offer to individuals with special needs.

Adaptive Riding

Recreational horseback riding lessons for individuals with special needs. Riders learn horsemanship and riding skills in an environment that is safe and adapted to their individual needs and learning style. We provide lessons to riders of all skill levels, from the first contact with a horse to advanced independent riders. The goals for participants in the adaptive riding program are riding-skill based, but riders and parents often report
many therapeutic benefits of participation such as improvements in physical strength, balance, coordination, mobility, self confidence, self control, and social skills.

Equine Assisted Learning

Activities that allow individuals to learn new skills while interacting with the horse on the ground. Lessons are tailored to promote confidence, empathy, body and behavioral awareness, problem solving around horses, as well as establishing a connection between the horse and the participant. The program is open to a wide range of disabilities.
